My dd didn't get juice until she was 2 and she doesn't like it at all. She's 3.5...please don't be one of those mom's that gives their baby juice in a bottle. It isn't healthy at all...baby "cereal" we started at 5 months. Cheerios I started at 9 probably.
Babies really shouldn’t have anything before 6 months because of their digestive system and they don’t need sugars like juice. Water, formula or breastmilk is where they get their hydration from.
Juice not until around a year and even then I watered it down a lot like pp says they get all their hydration from water, formula, or breastmilk while that young. Also a lot of drs don’t suggest baby cereal anymore because it has no real health benefits and is just a filler. A lot of them actually have additives that can harm babies long term.
@massgirl @taylorsmommy1017 @tacos4lunch26 @montymama.bb Thanks ladies I didn't plan on giving him none any time soon just a lil curious I haven't had a baby in 7years so it seem so new to me lol
@mommy.to.sterling I agree with the juice thing because I bought my oldest children a box of Capri sun juices and was so thirsty one day I TRYED to drink one and it was HORRIBLE it was so sweet I couldn't finish it I stop getting them juice lol
They make Gerber baby juice. I had to give my daughter some because she constantly was constipated where her poop was hard as a rock. I watered it down tho. The pediatrician even recommended it and it helped so much. As for regular juice that’s a no until 2.

@danny_pooh, Also babies don’t really need solids until they turn 1 so you can exclusively breastfeed or formula feed if you want.

@danny_pooh, yeah would you follow the same advice as juice, but with coffee?
