I went to the doctor today, in Baptist hospital, they wrote threatened miscarriage and told me just wait. I had some light brown spotting, one day. I don't think I just should sit and wait, I ve found some information about additional progesterone hormone for such cases. But doctor didn't insist on it, just told me to wait. I've heard that in HK doctors believe real pregnancy starts at 12 weeks, before that they don't treat the patients. Let me know ladies maybe someone had same situation, what did you do. Thank you.
@tba09 hello, 🌷 yesterday night it turned dark brown, I started utrogestan last night, then morning and now again. It seems it stopped the spotting. I'll keep taking the meds, it's not harmful for me nor for a baby. Just to be on a safe side. And from now on I'll be taking more rest.
@mummyroo91 I did not, but my doctor back at home told me to start taking it immediately
Sometimes spotting doesn’t mean miscarriage . I am from next door to you , China . Not being racist but generally doctors in China and HK don’t use their emotions when they deal with these situations . They are very straightforward and their choice of words is not the best as they are translating in their mind before they say it . So a lot of information gets lost in translation . They will only give you progesterone if they have checked your levels and feel there is a need for it . If it’s the ER then maybe they are not allowed to make sure decisions until your doctor sees you .
Keep your feet up and drink lots of water .
