I am supposed to be 7+3 today. Monday I went for an ultrasound and was measuring right on track. Hb of 108. Today I had slight spotting after sex and due to having negative blood I went to the er...they did an ultrasound. Baby was good Hb was 133 but she said I was measuring 6+5. She told me this was nothing to worry about as baby is still so small and everybody has their own technique at measuring and the baby could have been in a different position. The er doc told me the same that no worries should be in place and everything looked great. Is this normal should I worry? One mom has me freaking out and said there is no way this is normal and that my baby quit growing. Everything online points to normalcy.

Did they mention a subchorionic hemorrhage? I had that with my first. It was around 9 weeks or so. That could be the cause of spotting! Also some women spot during pregnancy

No it was due to irritated cervix from sex. Only lasted for three wipes. I’m not worried about that I’m worried about the measurements

I would just call your dr in the morning.

ER doctors aren't experts, if your baby's heart beat is fine I wouldnt worry. Baby is so small right now that if a measurement is off even slightly it can make a big difference.

@kerstie14, I had that after sex w my first. I was already afraid of spotting bc of a precious mc but my girl was fine. If you’re worried maybe abstain until you talk to your OB

Thanks everybody. I really wasn’t worried absolutely it it until somebody said by baby quit growing. Which my baby has a very strong heart beat and it’s risen since last Monday a lot so I’m not going to stress. I believe baby is just fine ❤️

Oh ok. Then I’d def listen to your ob on this one!! I’m sure your baby is fine. Call your ob tomorrow and speak with someone there!! Keep us posted

The baby can come early or late a due date and how dar u are this early is just a estimate. As long as baby is healthy dont worry or strss abt it

Talk to my ob nurse. She said everything looked great and I have no reason to worry. Said baby had a strong Hb and everything else looked great.
