Do you guys have a separate Apple ID for kids stuff and adult stuff?

I haven’t really done a lot of adult movie buying for us on the Apple TV (get your mind out of the gutter, I’m meaning PG-13/R movies 😝). I have bought a lot of movies for the boys and they can easily navigate the Apple TV, iPad and our phones for the movies they like. There’s a few adult movies I now want to buy. Should I buy them in the same account? Or keep the kids stuff separate with a different Apple ID? I’m just afraid they’ll accidentally click on a R movie and go straight to a sex or murder scene or something and I’ll scar them.

What do you guys do?

No. They use mine. They don’t need their own iTunes account unless they are paying for their own stuff.

We have a family account so my kids each have their own Apple ID but more because they each have their own iPad not sure how well it would work for Apple TV & your phones. In your case I’d probably just use one account.

I have a separate Apple ID for dd. It doesn’t have a password so the only things that can be downloaded are free apps. I didn’t want to share an I’d because I didn’t want all my apps on her iPad or have my iMessages and FaceTime go to her iPad.

@tardis141583, I wish I knew. This would solve all my problems! @decarlo4, me too. I have two IDs..one I only use for the boys movies and my regular ID. I’m not sure I’d go keep all the movies now on the same account or to put my movies on my ID.
