Any advice would be helpful my daughter is a week old she’s been on the light the whole week for her billy levels and they just won’t come down !!!! Docs don’t know why and neither do I had this happened to any of you it goes down one day then the next it’s higher then it was the day before

@kmiler55 ..can be usually the big difference in your blood type and hers...my blood is rare only my last son has my blood type..My 2nd son had his bilirubin high from such a difference blood type and had to use the light machine.keeping them near sun in house works.we put the swing or bouncer chair new patio door for sunlight...have u tried that?

She is in the nicu and I am not allowed to touch her she was born early and yes my blood type is pretty uncommon it’s 0- and she was b+ like her dad

My son had big levels but not enough to be hospitalized. I just had to take him to get checked every day for a week. I had to stop breastfeeding for 24 hours and only formula feed. But I read online about breastmilk jaundice and breastfeeding jaundice

She was on formula for the first 2 days then I switched but it’s crazy it just will not go down
