I swear the older my daughter gets , the more attitude she gives me , & listening less! 😕 don’t know…

My 4 year old never listens 😭... she’s also very sensitive so punishing her is hard too. She’s currently sitting on the chair in my hallway crying.

My daughter went through this from 3-5 and now she’s the sweetest thing again just like before she hit the terrible twos and 3’s and never mind how fucked up the fours were lol. She had so much attitude I literally had nothing to ever come back and say to her because she’s so damn smart but she’s stopped and now I can just reason with her and make her understand lol. My point is, it gets better.

@mimixtmn, girl that’s how I am , she cries just when I get after all .. so I don’t hit her or nothing because she’s already crying ! I don’t get it at all 😩😩😩😩😩 she had my attitude so 😑 ugh don’t know what to do .. just put her on time out & to think what I can do next 😪

@misscarter9313, maybe is the babies arrival, that’s how my daughter was when I was pregnant from my son... she was sweet but mannnn she would cry for every little thing .. but now that she’s older & im pregnant AGAIN , she’s gotten worse .. 😰

My twins are 4 and they seriously test my patience. I feel the same way, like I’m getting more attitude and less listening. I have to repeat myself all damn day.

My first daughter turned 4 in April and I'm feeling the same way. She's been more demanding and sassy lately. Telling me she wants this or that right now. Umm, what?! 😳 Where did MY daughter go?! Because I know for a fact I didn't teach her to be like this. 😒😩

Same! My daughter is 5 and has my attitude as well! At times I think it’s funny because she has such a smart mouth like me but I never let her see that. I just tell her to change her attitude or she won’t do anything fun or won’t get a toy basically just tell her she won’t get to do what she wants and tell her that is no way to soesk to your mom. Usually that works if not then I tell her to go to her room with the TV off for 5 minutes. I hope it gets better she is only 5 but just like a teenager 😭 lol she drives me nuts

We’ve always been strict with certain behaviors. We would never scold or hit for spilled milk, messy room, being tired or not eating..but we never tolerated hitting. He tried it when he was barely 1. We smacked his hand and kept doing it till he got the hint.

We’re consistent. Even when it’s hard or I’m tired or want to give in, we stay consistent. He’s 5 now and knows with just one look. Of course once in a while we will get a roll of eyes or a little huff and puff lol and he quickly corrects himself.
