Hi everyone. I’m new here but I have a few questions regarding birth control. I have 3 kids, my last one is almost 11 months. I don’t want any more kids and I was looking into birth control, especially the IUD. I’m leaning towards the non-hormonal one (to avoid the side effects of the one with hormones) but I read that your periods become heavier and it doesn’t get better with time. So I may go for the hormonal IUD. I know with Mirena, you stop having your periods altogether after a few months. Has anyone used any other hormonal IUD different from mirena? What are your experiences? Did you have any side effects? (Weight gain, nausea, mood switch, etc) Thank you ☺️

Anyone had the mirena iud? What side effects did you have? This is killin me and not sure if I want it anymore! Any advice or input on your experiences.
Any of you have IUD, if so which one (hormonal or copper) and how do you like it? Also did your period get lighter or heavier? I have an appointment for it next week but I'm not completely sold on it yet. All reviews good and bad are welcomed.
