When Ryder was little, I’d bring his play mat into the bathroom and lay it on the floor and bring him in with me so while he played I could take a quick shower. It worked great for me.

Yes yes yes yes I had to go through this when my fiance and i split last year! If u have a bouncer or swing or anything baby can sit in that u can put in the bathroom or in front of the bathroom door so they can hear/see u. If u dont, what i also did was i picked up the bathroom floor and put down a thick blanket and put some toys on the floor for my son and showered with the curtain half way opened! Also there is always a last resort of showering with baby as well!

I’m not single but daddy works and is never home . When baby was little I’d wait till he take a nap or bring him in with his bouncer to shower and now that he’s older I put his favorite show put him in his pack n play or walker and wait for him to be into it then I go shower

I'm not single either but I do EVERYRHING for these kiddies. Nap time is crucial. Most days I don't get to get dressed until 11:30ish because that's when both kids are asleep. NAP TIME IS THE TIME! It's my most productive hour and a half-ish. If it doesn't get done in that little time frame, it probably won't. (Mom of 2 under 2)

You have to learn to just put them down, I’m actually a single mom and you basically need a prison ( play pen, crib, secure room) you can put them in, in the event you need a millisecond to yourself. I take showers at night when my boys are sleep, but push come to shove put the baby in the crib and run and take a 5-10 min shower. My son is too lazy to cry for long periods of time he’ll cry for 2 mins max then calm down. Babies don’t need to be held all waking hours they can sit in a room for 10 min by themselves and nothing will happen. I never knew this was a issue for people

@filterless my daughter is super fussy and hates her bassinet even the in bed one. She screams if I'm out of her sight for more than 2 mins. I guess it's an issue for me because her dad has been holding her constantly since day one and instead of her crying I just continued with the cuddling all of the time and now I have no freedom
