I watched a YouTube labor and delivery vlog and the girl on there bad a C-section. She said that they removed her organs and then had to replace them and force them back in her???? Wait what. Is this true. I have IC and had a permanent TVCIC placed and will deliver via C-section. Now I'm kind of scared.
@bmr4g omggggggg. I'm just amazed right now at how I didn't now know that. My husband has been saying that he wants to see everything going on . He's always talking about looking over there curtain and looking at what's happening . Idk if it's aloud or not but I definitely won't let him now . He might pass out if they start taking my intestines out 😂😂
During my c section I could have sworn I could see my intestines in the reflection of one of the lights that wasn’t turned on and my husband said they had to remove a few things so I must have been right 🤷🏻♀️
My husband said he saw them take my stomach out for a while and then put it back in. Also that he kept seeing our sons arm or leg being pulled out and then he’d yank it back in 😂😂 he was transverse and waaay up in my ribs. Took 3 doctors to pull him out.
Anywho- not sure if it was actually my “stomach” or something else but that’s what he said.
@jennatess interesting yes. I'm the type to want to know how exactly everything is going to be done. When I had my TVCIC placed at 13 weeks my doctor's told me I would have to have C-sections so I knew or know I have to but I have never heard anyone ever say anything about organs being taken out.
@daliaaa, right? It’s scary sounding but once you think about it, there is so much going on inside that something would most likely need to be pushed to the side or removed to access the baby. Crazy though! My husband watched mine - he said only a little of my intestines got pulled out. They just placed them on my belly.
I don’t qualify for a VBAC (according to two doctors I’ve seen… I see one more this month, so who knows what they will say!), but if we ever have another, I plan on watching my surgery as well. 😂😂😂 i’m weird though! Surgery, blood and guts… It all interests me.
I think the cut is so low and on the other side of our stomach that they can’t see “inside” but definitely can still see some of it if it comes out. The doctors told my husband not to look but he did anyways! He did totally fine with it until he went to the NICU with our son, then it kind of all hit him and the nurses made him sit down for a few haha! He’s been pretty helpful and supportive since then though....
