Do any ladies have thyroid problems?

I have hypothyroidism

@sarab.estrada, what medication are you taking? I had a total thyroidectomy when my levels are high it makes my weight change and I’m tired 😴

I have hypothyroidism & take levothyroxine.

I have hypothyroidism and I take levothyroxine. Some days I feel like shit even if my levels are in “normal range”.

@mrscarter2k16, I’m sorry! Are you not on a right dosage for medication?

@amie0691, I was on 125mg but it wasn’t working so they switch my medication today.

@mrscarter2k16, oh I see, hang in there! I know how bad you must feel. Once you get the right dosage you should start feeling better all the time! Btw, I’m from Palmdale too :) currently live up north though.

@mrscarter2k16, I’m always tired too! Certain times of the month I just feel like a snail seriously! But yes I was born in Lancaster! My family still lives down there. I visit pretty often.

I’m curious about thyroid, I may or may not have it, or may get it in the future as it runs in my fam. I’ve been gaining weight faster than norm and will be talking to a doc soon. But what does the medication do? Do you have any luck in going back to norm or it forever stays with you (weight gain)

@leedleleedlelee, The medication to help control your levels and that depends on if you’re hyperthyroid or under active

@mrscarter2k16, how do you like it? I like Palmdale better then Lancaster.
