Has anyone’s child had to take prednisone for few days for an infection? My son has been super hyper then irritable…

I believe those are normal side effects! But definitely call if it will put your mind at ease! Hope he feels better!

Normal side effects. Prednisone is a steroid so he’s going to have a lot hyper moments while on it. Also irritability and mood swings. Totally normal

Yep, our two year old was on it. He was wide open and beyond hateful. I was counting the days until it ended. I try to avoid it now.

That is usual. Steroids make your sugar level go wayyyyy up.
