Ok So My C Section Scar Feels Like It’s Starting To Open Up Along With Feeling Numb To The Touch. It Causing Me A Ton Of Pain. What Can I Do Or Put On It ? Help Please. This Is My First C Section By The Way

You can’t put anything on it.
Take your pain meds, usually Morton or something and then if it’s causing you that much discomfort, I’d call your doctor.

@littleonemorning, I Took My Meds He Gave Me For Pain And They Seem To Not Be Working. It Even Hurts To Lay Down. I Have My 2 Week Check Monday.

@mommyof2ladybugs, are you taking them consistently? Are you still picking up your two year old? Since it’s your first c section, you need to really make sure you are taking it easy.

@littleonemorning, I Only Take Them When The Pain Is Really Bad. I Don’t Really Like Taking Them. I Try Not To Pick Her Up As Much Because I Know I Shouldn’t And She’s Almost 30 Pounds.

@mommyof2ladybugs, I would take them a little more often because most likely the fact that you are only taking them when it’s really bad is why your scar is hurting so much. And they usually take about an hour o kick in, even if you just take them before bed.

@littleonemorning, I Took Them At 5:30 And I Still Have No Relief. I Just Might Have To Do That. If Your Advice Doesn’t Help Me. I Have No Choice But To Be In Pain Until Monday

@mommyof2ladybugs, I mean if you can barely function, see if they can see you earlier. Especially if you think the scar is tearing, but with my first, I felt like a bus hit me for a good two weeks.

Same thing happened to me after my c section, my incision opened up a good amount and the dr just had me dress it with gauze and wound wash 2x a day. It took sooo long to close back up though, like 2 months & it was really uncomfortable. Try to take it easy.

I had trouble with my c section. Do you have a side that’s bothering you more than another ? Does it feel warm?
I had a ceroma not sure on the spelling but I ended up having a hole in my stomach for a few months to let it drain. It was so painful. They kept telling me it was nothing but I knew something was right. They finally figured it out after a few visits good luck!
