betamethasone steroid shot... have any of you ladies received this shot to help baby’s lungs develop?

I got my shot last night and omg the side effects are just kicking in! I have a horrible upset stomach and I’m sooooo flushed! What other side effects are there to this shot?!

Thanks for responding ladies. Surprisingly my butt isn’t sore because it hurt so bad when she poked me lol

Yes my butt cheek just hurt😲😂😂 a while i was just nauseous a few days. Lol

Tbh I don’t remember any side effects to the shot, I got it w my first son because he was trying to come too early, maybe I don’t remember cuz it was 6 years ago. What I can def tell you is he has amazing lungs! Compared to his brother who never needed the shot but seems to be somewhat weaker there. Don’t know if it’s related to the shot tho 🤷🏻‍♀️

Any suggestions on birth control ? .. I was gonna go with the depo shot..

princessrose Depo was awful in the end. At first I loved it and I never had a period
wvmommy I would do an IUD before the depo shot. I've heard nothing but bad things about. Weight

Anyone have the Skyla IUD??

If so, any side effects??

mommytol I had the lileta iud and it fell out too,I literally pulled it out. I wouldn’t recommend
lexirosex3 @mommytoluca, I don’t know what to do either, I didn’t really have problems with the mirena IUD.
mommytol The doctor suggested the Mirena too and I’m like 👀.

Hello ladies, my dr told me to take flue shot.. I was afraid of it's side effects but then advised me because it protects my baby after birth.. Does anyone take it???
