Having a newborn in the summer, what do you put them in for a pool. since newborn poop is liquid im scared to use swim diapers and newborn poop is often and unpredictable. *obviously i know to keep the baby out of the sun as much as possible, this is for when we are in the water.
@mrscloud_tinycloud, 🙄🙄🙄 yes of course you can address me as the queen now. Brain cells really are rare .
They have reusable swim diapers that might help. My pedi said I could put my DD in the pool when she was 3 months old if that helps. Honestly I was too worried about it being so cold that I didn’t put her in much
@raqueliiosiis everyone's point and opinion is relevant regardless of context. I may be new to this, but hey, all hail the queen of baby forums who knows everything 😎
*pool especially since their skin is fresh & there’s chlorine in the water and also the blazing sun
@mrscloud_tinycloud, your point is irrelevant I’ve been in plenty of baby forums to know these women never agree in anything so for them to be agreeing in something clearly the OP is the issue. But like I said you know best.
@ellenobridges I plan on having my boy in the water while he's still an infant too, I plan to just keep a really close eye on his diapers
@raqueliiosiis just because everyone says you'll have an eternal life if you jump off a bridge, does that make it true? 🤔
@ellenobridges, well clearly you no best so do whatever your heart desires. But I will say if all the moms are telling you the same thing then you’re probably in the wrong.
well we will be there everyday twice a day for swim practice so unless im going the let the baby bake in the heat, im going to put us in the pool to cool off.
I honestly wouldn't . Their skin is sooo sensitive they were barely in the sun. Two July babies
Yea I'm not sure I might stick his feet in a wading pool or something but I won't want my newborn in a pool but I'm overly paranoid lol
I would ask your pedi to be safe but I'm sure dipping baby's feet in to cool them off wont hurt them. You do what you feel is best
