I posted a pic the other day of my son in his seat with the straps loose. Some found a issue with that and one commented. Cool. I explained We had not moved yet & it was loose due to his previous clothing. I worked in early child hood education for just about all of my 20s. My family owns three child cares. My mother worked in it for 20yrs. I was a transporter for a few of the children in my own truck. So i was loading & unloading car seats for years. So this is some thing i was educated to do & compensated for. Some times its nicer & easier to just ask questions before assuming & trying to correct another mother. The way some women treat others on here is so uncaused for. I will post it again & ask... how can anyone tell we were in route & if the pic is this close up... some one is right next to him right?

To conclude. We were on the way to a balloon release of a family member that passed. His fav color was red. So i wanted a picture of my son posted on social media before we left. This was taken as soon as i put him in his seat.

I agree. One person saying something should be enough. I don’t think everyone should bombard something with the same information. I’m all for car seat education if it’s needed. He’s adorable tho 😍😍😍

My daughter's straps are always loose when I first put her in. Ever since I accidentally pinched my first daughter's belly when buckling her in when she was a few weeks old and left a giant bruise, I always loosen the straps completely, put her in, tighten, then adjust chest clip, tighten a bit more. Some people would go berserk if I took a picture before adjusting everything. 😂

@breloya, yea i see. Lesson learned. But they can lose their minds on this app. In a real life situation where they are present they would not say a thing. Its just on here all of these heffas have balls & want to bully other mothers.

I'm sorry if you felt attacked. We are all just looking out for each other and their little ones. Too many kids die in car accidents from not being restrained properly. I will say, that everyone (and I mean everyone) will think there's nothing wrong with their car seat. But there are things you wouldn't even think to check. I can also say that it's always nice to learn something new instead of rejecting advice. I'd really like to help you out with making proper adjustments if you don't mind. 🙂 from one mommy to another, if I was doing something that made my daughter unsafe I'd love to hear what someone has to say. A car seat is (and being properly restrained) is the difference between life or death in the car. Even on 2 minute trips down the street you never know what will happen. My words are sincere and I hope you consider listening to some advice! ❤️

I agree some moms do just wana be mean. Makes the ones that do actually care look bad. I also loosen my babies straps every time I get him in and out, and it took me until my second child to get the carseat thing right and I wished I knew more about it then! I will ask a question Are his straps below his shoulders? And one thing I learned a few weeks ago is to clip the paci to him not his straps. Im constantly learning more and I'm on #3 lol
