Who uses the little remedies gas drops? I’m using them on Trevor and I’m not sure if it’s helping at all. He still seems…

I use gripe water and it worked wonderful for us. My son had bad gas and tummy issues, we went to soy and he’s a lot better now but the gripe water definitely helped with gas and tummy aches

@buntaine, @dpushknockx, @ace160, I’ll have to pick up some gripe water today! His doctor suggested gas drops and pedialyte, I grabbed the gas drops but after thinking about it, I don’t see any need for the pedialyte. He’s not losing fluids, so he doesn’t need that

Have you tried massaging his belly? it worked wonders for my little one. Theres youtube videos on how to do it. I would push on her legs and she passes gas 😂

@rndmshtt, I haven’t tried that! If he’s trying to pas gas I’ll help push his legs or do the bicycle motion with them but it doesn’t always help. My first son was never like this so I have no idea what to do😅

What bottles do you use? My son swallowed a lot of air with avent so I switched to Dr browns. I saw a difderence with them and didn't hear him swallowing air anymore although it turned out he had silent reflux. I never thought that's what he had since he didn't have the normal symptoms, he cried before and during a bowel movement and when he needed to pass gas. Once he started reflux meds he was able to fart and poop in peace lol no more crying.

I use doctor Browns, but he still swallows a bunch of air. He swallows air when he eats and even when he isn’t eating. He’ll randomly wake up and start screaming because he needs to burp or fart and can’t pass the gas. @mom_of_3_boys,

@kristenmarie that's how my son was he would even make all sorts of sounds while eating. Talk to the pediatrician about it and see if it's the formula or if ge could try ranitidine. My son is on hypoallergenic formula and ranitidine and ge was able to enjoy his bottle for the first time after one dose. No more noise, arching back, or swallowing air. He rairly passes gas now and when he does is when he poops.
