Had my 16 wk check up today. My midwife wasn't there and the midwife I saw doesn't know when she will be back. To be quite honest I'm glad it wasn't her and was a different one. The midwife I saw was shocked at the things my midwife missed and didn't book me in for etc. Heard my little mans heart beat so that made me smile. GTT next week 🙄 yay 👌

This happened to me too. Nearly missed my injection I needed because I'm rhesus negative. Some midwifes are ridiculous! X

Glad is all well - hopefully you can get this midwife more often.
I had mine too I never got to hear my little one heartbeat. she said she doesn’t recommend it at 16 weeks because of the device they had doesn’t always pick it up and doesn’t want to create some anxiety if she couldn’t find it. I was so disappointed as I wanted to hear it.
