I swear this happened with my niece and nephew when my dad died... A day later they claimed they heard knocking and wanted to let him in (they were 2&3 at the time and didn't know he had died yet) they kept calling for Grandpa Rufie and playing this kind of hide and seek game with him. All I could do was cry it was strange yet beautiful.

When Danny was 2 he would talk to my Grandmom all the time. She died when I was 10 and he didn’t know who and was. He would just say, Barb is here, I am talking to Grammy Barb. That’s what I called her. Then he would say, Ray is here now. My mom’s dad who passed when she was little. He never knew either of them or their names at 2 years old. When lights flicker we just say Hi Grammy and Grandpop Ray. It happens often so I truly believe they are watching over my boys. Sounds like your Dad is watching over your kiddos!
