Hi mommies. I just need some help finding a birth control. I’ve had a couple different types. Sprintec ( the pill ) the implant in the arm and I’ve tried depo. Both depo and the implant was major mood swings and weight gain. And I used to take the pill ( same brand ) when I was in high school and it worked fine. Now after my first baby I recently started taking it again and this is my first pack I’m on the white pills 3-4 more left till a new pack and I’ve had 4 periods this month. They are light and no cramping. But just an inconvenience because it’s literally on for 4 days then off for 3.. I was thinking about the copper mirena? Any reviews or concerns? Please let me know. ❤️. Thanks.

I been on Yaz for 6 years and it help a lot with light periods. I like the pill.

I take norethindrone .35g (jolivette, but doctor has given me 3 different packs with different names) I haven’t had a period in months & im not pregnant

The copper IUD is known to cause significant cramping...so if you have an issue with that I wouldn't do it. I have a Liletta IUD and haven't had any problems. I also liked the Nuva Ring.

I usually don’t have any cramps. @missusaj, I had depo and gained weight. I had the implant and mood swings and I would bleed on it for 2 weeks but it was very very light spotting. And now I’m on the pill but the brand is making me have a light period like every weekend and I can’t keep doing this.

@annmarie.2011.cc you can always give it a try and if it doesn't work out, remove it!! I gained almost 50 lbs on depo!!! Hated it!!!

@missusaj, I’m just scared I don’t want to try it and then it gets implanted in my uterus. I was on depo for 9 months so three shots. I was 16 at the time. I went from 115- to 160. Hated it. I didn’t have a period which I liked. But the weigh gain

@annmarie.2011.cc My OB inserts all IUDs under ultrasound to minimize risks and make sure that it's in the right place....maybe you could talk to your OB about that! Yea, I'll never do depo again!!

I just got the iud tuesday so far i like it. Just very light spotting mine wasnt copper tho
