What’s good to try to induce labor I’ll try anything except for castor oil it’s not my month yet lol…

Estimated due dates are just that… Estimated. Due dates can be wrong by up to two weeks. So, often times people think that they are 38 weeks, but in reality they’re only 36 weeks along. The doctor will induce if necessary, and your medical professional will be able to recommend things to do based on your individual pregnancy.

Things like walking, nipple simulation, sex, ect can all cause your body to contract, but the thing with trying to induce “at-home” it’s just super iffy. Even though your body is contracting, that definitely doesn’t mean you’re dilating. And, if that’s the case, then sometimes that can put the baby in distress.

I carried to one day shy of 42 weeks. But, my doctor was adamant that it just wasn’t time yet. So, I listened and I waited (im)patiently. He explained that trying at home would only stress myself and probably the baby out.

We’ve all seen people on this app, and in real life who have forced a child to come too soon and those actions caused complications.

Long walks and lots of sex. If anything helps it would be the sex, but my last pregnancy I was induced early- so didn’t get to that point- and sex was painful at the end anyways, so if I did, not sure if that would have worked for me.

So I have gone over with both my boys and ended up having to be induced. I literally tried everything except the oil because I was afraid of the complications. Nothing worked. I a firm believer in don’t even waste your time or energy they will come when they are ready and if not you get induced. I honestly feel without inductions I would still be pregnant with both my kids 😂😂😂

With my 3rd baby I ate an entire pineapple, had lots of sex and my midwife stripped my membranes went into labor a few hours after my membranes were stripped

I was going to be induced with my second but I really didn’t wanna go through that again so I did the labor inducing dance
