I had a mirena was fine, the second one I got was horrible it migrated and embedded into my uterus which caused major cramping and bleeding and also gave me cysts on my ovaries and had to go through exploratory surgery for them to find and remove it. After that I got the paraguard and it gave me such intense cramps and heavy bleeding. It scared me how bad the bleeding was and I went to the ER and they said it was normal. I would bleed through a Super tampon and a pad and still leak into my clothes in 45 minutes and I just dealt with it and after 4 years I ended up pregnant with my baby now

I have had both the copper one and currently have the mirena and no complaints with either. With the sirens, my periods have stopped completely though
