Tmi, when are these stitches going to dissolve? First degree tear and it's been three weeks

It can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks . I had an episiotomy when I had my daughter and it took about 3-4 weeks to dissolve the stitches

They used dissolvable stitches for my tubal. I had to end up pulling them out. They wouldn't dissolve and ended up getting infected.

Mine never dissolved 😧 they had to remove them all at my 6 week check in. I hope yours dissolve for you soon, it wasn't super pleasant getting them out. Not trying to scare you! It might not be too bad, they were acting like I was being dramatic lol.

I had stitched when I had my ds, but that was forever ago. His first six weeks of life are all a blur. I don't think I got off the couch for those weeks

Mine never dissolved. I pulled them out about 4 or 5 weeks post birth because they were dangling and tangling and it hurt.
