Actually anything over 100.4 is considered a fever. If you can't get a temp of 103-104 to come down then you need a call to the doctor. Just keep an eye on it. If it's a virus you want him to fight that virus on his own.
I agree if you can get temp down go to ER. My son was 102 one day and he actually started going unresponsive.... Was waiting for my friend to take me in after 2 hrs I called for ambulance n they got their just intime. As he was going in n out. I was scared as all heck cuz he was 7 month's. He's now 5. I was beyond pissed at my friend cuz I said I was gonna call ambulance she said she be right over. Smh 2 hrs later.
Ok thank you everyone he wasn't like this earlier today it just started when he woke up from his nap he had nothing but a pull-up on no covers all of a sudden mom came by and picked him up and told me to check him ASAP I did it was dayum near 103
@raquely, That's what he was doing for few min than just stop responding. I was freaking out on phone with dispatch. After calling it in 5 min later it happend.
@raquely he's drinking Pedialyte now and laying down I pray it goes down. It may be the virus my lil cousin had she gave it to our Aunt and her granddad now they both sick
Update we left hospital at 11 he has the virus but his temperature when I checked again at 4 went back up so again I'll keep giving him popsicles and his meds hopefully it'll stay down

Lucky my 9 month old doesn't have a fever I pray he doesn't get sick

@lp1988727 well at 5 his temperature went back to 102.7 gave him Motrin at 5:30 just check it now it's 100.7
