Moms of toddlers, how do you handle meltdowns in public? My daughter had a huge meltdown at the park today over nothing and everything at the same time 😩. My usual taking her aside and talking / calming her down didn't work this time. Any tips ? Btw she just turned 2 in Marchx

I honestly just laugh or smile and pick him up and keep on walking

When i tell her people are looking at her she stops and looks around lol it works everytime

@deepsoul0490, Iv done that before lol it didn't work this time.. nothing worked .. I guess it's just toddler life

I pull him out of whatever he is doing, quietly talk to him about why what he is doing is not okay, and then leave or redirect him to do a different activity as a distraction. I don’t tolerate meltdowns, nor will I scream at my kid in public.
