I need to vent..... I wish I could change the father of my child.... I wish he would just grow…

My oldest daughter dad tried that benefits shit with me about 3 years ago because he would automatically be qualified to claim her on taxes if she was on his 😡😒. Keep your head up I really did want the same for her as her father is still a in and out type of “dad” , he signed his self up for child support and hardly pays it. I wish he would leave us alone as well luckily I only have contact when he wants to exchange our child for visits anything else and him and his family can get blocked. Keep your head up praying it gets better for you❤️.

With my daughter her father was like this.. in the end I have him the benefit of the doubt and put him on the birth certificate and have her his last name.... I've regreted it everyday for the past 9 years.. now he's even threatening to try to get custody of her because he doesn't like my husband.. I should have never told him I was pregnant so it would've just been her and myself

@toridewey, aw man I am so sorry girl my son isn’t getting his last name and I’m not letting him sign the birth certificate I’m just going to put him on child support do the dna test and that be it.... he texted me and told me to have the social security card ready for him I was like you’re out of your damn mind I will never let him get my baby’s social because I can see him now trying some stupid crap

@alyssa.kavanaugh2013, ugh girl I can see mines trying that crap..... just to be able to claim him on his taxes if I do have to take him to court I am going to ask for supervised visitations he lives with his parents and the house has roaches everywhere and it’s not a good environment for my baby..... my parents have talked to me about talking to an attorney right now I feel as if my bd not being in my sons life is for the best he’s just too childish and controlling I couldn’t believe he even told me to have the social security card ready like what does he think this is if I have to go without child support I will be perfectly fine I just don’t want to have to deal with him....

I would cut all ties now, stop replying to everyone related to him etc ... if he decides to pursue you and take you to court then he will have a bunch of crap to go through before he will even be allowed the child alone. I would definitely fight it he sounds immature and unfit.

@alyssa.kavanaugh2013, very much so girl he’s going to give me a hard time the rest of my life.... I just don’t want him to get a hold of my sons birth certificate or the social that’s my main worry and he’s blocked his mother is blocked because she’s just as bad as him..... she got upset called me fussing because my father said they would have to throw their own baby shower..... but not one time has anyone from his family called to check on me or my son.....

Honestly I wouldn't even do it for child support. I've never asked for child support, it was hard on my own but if that's your only tie to him I wouldn't do it. Working a little harder so he has to say is worth it

@toridewey, yes you’re right and that’s what I’m leaning towards no child support I don’t want him to have any rights at all until he grows up and respects me

@briatta, just think it's always something you can do later in life if you want it down the road
