First post partum period while ebf, what’s normal? I never made it this far ebf before, I’m 8 weeks pp

You won’t have your period for a while cause the breastfeeding I didn’t start till bout 7 months after .

@jellybeans_mumm I’ve heard that too but I think I started today that’s why I was asking lol it’s super light and pink so idk

@jellybeans_mumm, Not necessarily. It varies from person to person. I ebf and I’m still breastfeeding my almost 14 month old and I got my period 6 weeks out. Not all of us have the best luck. 😒

@mswedes what was your first one like? I’m having mild cramps but it’s so light like not even enough for anything other then a panty liner, it started about 3 hours ago

PP so that is a while, of course everyone is different, not implying she would be like me..

@montymama.bb, mine started like that and went straight into a bright red which concerned me because I was convinced I had more time.

@jellybeans_mumm, I’m sorry if you took my comment as accusatory. I didn’t at all mean it that way. More frustrated that I got my stupid period right away. I was hoping to be one of the ones who got it later.

My past 2 I didn’t start until about a month after weaning. Everyone is different.

With all 4 of mine I didn't get my first period till either right before they hit a year or a little bit after. If I remember right it was mild cramps and reg/heavy bleeding. But everyone is diffrent.
