I'm stressing out so bad. I'm already 35 weeks pregnant and we can't move to our new place until mid may. We haven't packed for the hospital, we hardly have anything for the baby, and we don't have a car seat yet. I can't get help from my husband, because he has so much homework that he never sleeps and won't stop stressing about it. Anytime I talk to him he yells at me for talking. School doesn't get out until May 11th, and I just am scared of the baby coming and not having anything cuz we waited until school got out to get anything. I just can't handle this stress. 😔
Being under pressure is harder for some people then others. Esp when it's you in the situation it feels like you're just lost... i know i do that. When it comes to helping other people and their situations, everything seems possible, but i do find myself a little lost at times when im the one facing the problem.
Take it one small step at a time dear. Especially with all these crazy hormones in us... i never knew how weak i can be until this pregnancy lol. Some days i just want to lay in bed and not do anything at all, so i totally understand you. Relax, lay in bed or enjoy a nice bath... while you do that just do some research. Look for free things in your community... Craiglist? Offer App? Food Shelf/Community Churches? Or even call your hospital and ask them if they can help provide you with any resources in getting a free carseat when you have baby. I know sounds cheap BUT you will be able to find a decent one and no need to buy a new one in my opinion.
Where im from we have lots of free womens group that offer us help during our pregnancy... im sure you can find some in your area. Womens Source was the one i attended. They educate you about pregnancy, and you can earn baby bucks to shop in their closet for baby stuff... new and lightly used stuff.
Have you also tried registering for free baby stuff? I got a ton of free baby stuff... Target, Babylist, Amazon Baby box, Baby University Co., and Walmart baby box... etc. It is some what time consuming but its great stuff. Let me know if youd like more Info. If you look at my post, i have posted a few of them just so other moms can see the things that i get. These are things not everyone knows so i try to help inform others when i can.
These just a few ideas and all of free ways to get stuff so i hope youd find it somewhat useful.
@ashleysheikh, can’t you barrow some money? Or maybe find a part time job? You’re 35 weeks..you should have started once y’all knew the sex! I’m sorry, hope it gets better for ya.
@marielovely, he doesn't have off days cuz he has so much homework to do
If nothing else, try to work on getting the car seat. Target is doing their trade in event, so if you can give them a used car seat by May 5, you'll get a 20% off coupon towards a car seat that can be used until May 19.

If it don't have a car seat to trade in, ask friends and family, or check your local mommy pages on FB and Craigslist for some.
I'm sort of in the same boat I'm 34 week and barely started shopping for baby Last week.. she had about three out fits bath wash..lotions... socks..12 onies...I haven't even started on bottles car seat stroller or a baby bag yet...
Why can’t you go and get them when you have the time? I know tons of second hand baby shops are around. I spent like 25$ on a bunch of stuff at once upon a child.
You guys can’t go on his off days and get a couple things? Like atleast the main necessities like a car seat n stuff for the hospital
@bbyzvcy18, thanks for the reassurance and I look into all of those services
