My son, who is 2 has been trying to nurse this past week. He hasn't nursed in about 9 months probably. The first time i rejected him and he thought it was funny. Then the next time i rejected him again and he cried so i let him latch on to see that nothing will come out and he realized and understood. The last couple of times he tired i got the "let down" feeling. No milk actually came out. I'm just curious if any other mommas have experienced this and if so do you know why? I'm thinking maybe my body knows that my son is interested again??

Your body is a magical thing. I have heard of something like this happening and the mother ended up with milk.

It is very possible to re lactate, you should look it up there's tons of info on it

@amberspringer @3andme @taylorsmommy1017 Thank you ladies! Do you guys have any idea why hes interested again? Recently I've been sleeping topless because of how hot it is in CA. Could that be why?

@taylorsmommy1017 @amberspringer we do co sleep and no we're not trying for another baby. Although i have had terrible baby fever.
