True that. But i plan on taking the pill along with it because i already have a slight hormonal imbalance. So that can help even it out in some cases

I had mine done. I don’t regret it one bit. I’m terrible at remembering to take a pill and anytime I ever had a long term birth control I bled almost daily. I do get terrible cramps for a few days and my flow is a little bit heavier but it’s not the worst thing.

I did it a year ago & don't regret it at all. Recovery after surgery was a little rougher than I was expecting but within 2 weeks I was all but back to normal. I do notice some mild ovulation cramps now but no other side effects.

I forgot to mention recovery. It’s an outpatient procedure where I live so I was home before lunch. I was a little sore that day and had some slight bleeding at the incision. The second day was probably the worst but after that second day I was fine. I didn’t need all the pain medication they gave me. Make sure you have someone there to help with kids the first day or so.

I have a question for BFing moms. Was you able to BF after the procedure or did you have to pump and save so someone else could feed baby? I haven't asked my OB yet so was not sure what kind of medication they used during or after the procedure.

I don’t BF but my doctor prescribed Percocet (sp?) same as after I had the baby and they said it was fine to BF when on it after delivery
