How do you know when you're ready for another baby?
I have an 8 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. My littlest one was a very difficult baby. He was ebf for almost 2 years and I couldn't be out of eyesight. He didn't sleep through the night until 15 months and I had to sleep train him because there was no end in sight.
I feel like maybe we are almost ready for our third and last baby. I work part time in the morning. I work from 8-11 and then another hour from home. I'm still pretty new to my job but once I get completely trained I'll be able to do more from home. When I get home my husband leaves for work and works from 1-10pm.
I'm pretty content with how our life is going right now but I don't want to have too much space in between my youngest and our last. Plus I'm really hoping I get a girl.
I don't know I'm so back and forth 😩heeelllllppppp!! (Sorry if this is all over the place)

Even though I've only had one, thus was the advice I was given... Sit down with your husband and set yourselves a goal in a sense. Say you guys decide to come back to the topic in 6 months time and just see if you both feel ready and if not then set another discuss on the topic for 4 months time and keep doing so until you both think you are ready and besides honey, your body will tell you when it's 100%to carry another baby

@paige_1999, thank you! Yes, we are going to discuss it after summer break is over for my older boy. I know we want to go on a vacation without kids first but we can do that this year!

They always say there is never a perfect time/ or you can never be fully prepared. Listen to your body. See how your 2.5 year old is doing in 6 months. He will almost be ready for preschool so you can have a few hours of bonding with the new baby once he or she is here. So many factors can go into it. Every child is a blessing and you will know when your ready.
