Is it possible my son is drinking the milk my newborn will need when he’s born? I’m 38.2 weeks pregnant & I’m still nursing my 2 year old son. It’s more for his comfort, which is at night & when he’s ready for his midday nap. My milk is starting to come back in & I didn’t think of this until now....

Nope... my midwife once told me I could still breastfeed my daughter even after my lil one was born.

Nope totally fine . Many moms nurse while pregnant just keep an eye on contractions and what not.

Tandem nursing is a big thing that some moms choose to do and it doesn't hurt either child

No I’m still breastfeeding my lo he’s 12 mths the milk doesn’t change over until later on in your pregnancy but it’s likely your supply will slow down .
It’s fine to breastfeed as long as your not high risk I also breastfed until 12 weeks last pregnancy (last year) I’m almost 16 w rn

No lol your milk actually will turn back to more of a colostrum but it may not take that long after birth to go back to milk. It's fine to nurse still as your body is used to it.
It's supply and demand. You're body will just make more if either baby drinks it.

@breederofboyz, that was my other question! If him nursing will cause contractions & such. Because he HAS to play with my other nipple while he feeds 🙄 lol

@bsandra, thank you. My son can drink whole milk but he just prefers to nurse when he’s ready to nap or sleep.

@mmmcano, thank you. I was actually worried my son will be taking the colostrum that our newborn will need. My milk supply actually hasn’t been in, until recently I’ve noticed some changes.
