Mother's bliss gripe water for night time. Keeps my baby asleep for 4 hr stretches. She had gas and colic

This is normal for 6d old baby. We had that at 3 days and 10 days. Inconsolable cry for 5-8 hrs. She then decided to stop and be a happy baby again.
It’s hard but you got this. Just give it some time ( I know easier said than done) and keep in mind the baby is brand new to this world.

Little Tummies Gripe water or Mylicon gas drops are what I turned to. Also I use to lay him across my lap, supporting his head and rub his back and sway side to side. Also messaging the tummy while laying on their back and moving their legs in a slow running motion might help? If that don’t work, maybe it’s acid reflux/colic?

To know if it's gas pains feel the baby's belly if it's really hard and tight yes

@momma.of.three.queens, this was her first night acting like this. But how long and often does your little one cry ?
Raelene Gosselin·
@pjm1806, I really hope this is the case 😥 last night was brutal! Not being able to satisfy her was stressful.

@chaos_coordinator, thank you! I’ll definitely try that, I’m praying she’s not colic!

@turky, thank you! I’ll check for that once she wakes up

@raelene_g an old school method would be to stretch her legs out then push them up and together to help get the gas out but it's old school so it only works sometimes. Hope this helps luv u got this.

@turky, I’ll try anything at this point! Appreciate it 💖

@raelene_g mine is usually good all night but she'll fight sleep usually after her 7pm bath until 8:30-9 when she gives in. I have her in a routine and she's used to it after 3 weeks a d she'll occasionally have a bad night and gripe water fixes it
Raelene Gosselin·
@momma.of.three.queens, ahh thank you! Hoping to get a routine going..

Bath by 7-8pm

Keep BBY awake until 9-9:30
Give gripe water and feed again after 5mins of giving the gripe water.
