@pearce5443, it's because there's a heightened risk of listeria bacteria on areas where food is dispensed regularly. Eating a McFlurry won't do you or the baby any harm at all but listeriosis would. Listeriosis is extremely rare in the uk but can cause extreme harm to unborn babies. This is why they advise against it. The chances are very minimal of contracting it though. Xx

It’s the same as ice cream from the ice cream van or any whipped ice cream that’s what I was told🙈 xx
