So I have 3 children! My oldest is 4 (prev relationship) and then a 1.8yo and 4 month old with my husband who keeps bringing up having *just* 1 more. I feel stretched to my limits as is and said I’d consider it once our son turns 2. He wants the kids all close in age and feels like the oldest 2 being 2.5 years apart is a lot ! Im personally okay having 3-5 yrs between them!I’m just curious on others opinions on this! Maybe someone can give more insight on my husbands side because right now I think he’s crazy 😂

Lol sounds like me and my husband but flipped. I really want to hurry and get pregnant right now (we are actively trying after 1.5 years of convincing him we should). I have always wanted my kids close in age. My son turns 3 in November and I feel we should have tried last year so only would have been a 2 year age gap. I have two brothers. My older brother is 7.5 years older than me and we have a very sparse relationship. He grew up resenting us because we were so much younger then him. My baby brother who I am super close with and was my best friend growing up although we did fight is 2.5 years younger than me. So I really never wanted a big age gap. My husband is fine with our kids being 5+ years apart. Which is weird but he grew up as the only child in the house and his older sisters are way older then him but they have different moms.

I have 6 kids ages 8,7,5,3,2,1.. honestly I like having them all close together, for the most part they get along great and don't feel to left out because they all have someone to play with.

My kids are 5yrs apart (not counting the sd) my son was able to help out a lot and understood we weren't replacing him. Apparently that's a fear with younger kids.
