Question to the mommies that have two religions how do u do both ? For me I am Jewish and my bf is…

My religion is catholic and my husband was Mormon but is now following catholic. Of course his family is very Mormon and would love my boys to be as well but we honestly lay it out. I’ve let them know what he is. I tell them we teach about God. Catholicism is what we agreed upon before our son was even born. Same for this one of course. When he is older he has the right to choose just like his father did. When they mention stuff we kinda just remind them we too believed something. We believe both religions are not wrong just teach things differently, we want our son to grow knowing there are other religions out there so we don’t appose to him knowing and learning but he will have the greater understanding of how his parents religion works but thank you.

I am Jewish born in Israel and my husband is puertorican.We teach them about both &as far as families go no one has say so but ..Us !People have to know boundaries even if it's family

I'm Baptist and my husband is 7 day Adventist. He doesnt eat pork or bottom feeder sea food. I was raised eating them. I just talked to my family and let them know that they are to respect my husbands wishes that he doesnt want his son eating that stuff. When he is old enough to make that decision himself he is more than welcome to do so. I still eat pork whenever I want. Just my husband and son dont.

@mommywifelifestyle, @sherrynygirl, @kmdugdale, I’m trying to win this battle with my bfs mother who to me has boundary issues 🙄 but I’m the only one that sees it 😑 as I was telling his mother she’s born Jewish because I am Jewish and a month after she’s here I want to have a baby naming well his mom wants her to get baptized well no that’s not how I want it so I’m sitting here all alone my bf backing his mom saying why can’t we do both 🤦‍♀️ idk should I give in to this battle or do I stand my ground on this one ☝️

My mil is a huge catholic and i dont practice, nor does my husband go to church. We are both baptized but have spoken about letting our LO choose his religion when hes 18. Its not our right to force him into something we, his parents, dont believe in.

I know when older people get baptized it's an age of acknowledge ment older than 13 ish...tell her wait haha...and when a baby is born to a Jewish mother in Jewish law they already are covered by the hands of God...so no need for a baptism since all children are God's children. Maybe she'll stay quiet after those fact s....hate pushy mother on law's
