Hello mom.life friends. I’m a CPST which is a fancy abbreviation for a car seat tech. I’ve refrained from unsolicited advice, but the car seat usage is atrocious on this app. Please contact me if you need car seat help or are unsure if you’re doing something wrong. I’m happy to help those who want help. Know better do better! ✌🏻🖖🏻

I had no idea you were a tech! I actually have a question. We just purchased my one year old a Britax Boulevard Click-tight. Let me post a photo and continue my question.

Does this look right? For some reason the straps don’t sit snuggly on his belly. I can slide my fingers under there but it’s tight. I bought this seat bc it was supposed to be simple but I’m more confused than ever by the clicking when I pull it tight because it clicks way before it’s even tight. Hope you aren’t confused by my question!

@tennesseehawk, the hugs (the plastic things on the straps) do make the straps have a bit of a gap down by the Crotch. It’s totally normal and as long as the straps are tightened properly it’s fine.

@squishymommy1, thanks so much 😊

Hi! I didnt know that you're a car seat tech. I do have a quick question, what is the age, height, weight, requirements for no seat or booster. Just sitting in a regular seat with a regular belt.

@leenie, hi! That’s a great question. Here’s a graphic that describes when this will occur.
