Any autism moms out there. I would love to have more friend that have kids with autism who can relate to what I’m going through. My oldest son was diagnosed about 2 years ago I love him more than anything but as any autism mom know some days are better then others and I would love to be able to talk to people that understand.
@emmanelson92, I still learning myself but if you have any questions or just want to talk I’m here.
Hey mum's. I've just started following all of you. My son is almost 3 and we are currently waiting for a diagnosis. He is pretty much non verbal but can day the odd word. I'd love some advice on how to improved things as your children seem a bit older. It would also be nice to have some autism mummy friends x
@rjxmommy, you will never “figure” it out completely and that’s okay! My daughter is 4 and is completely nonverbal but communicates in ways that continue to amaze me! You’ve got this mama. And are definitely not alone. My child, is “rare” in autism (a black girl) and it amazes so many people, but there are so many ways you can find others in the same situation! We are autism mommies we got this!
My son is 4 and was diagnosed at a out 22 months. We have had tons of therapy, and 12 hours of ABA per week since he turned 2. I haven't been through it all, but I can definitely lend an ear. They say 1 in 58 children have Autism, but I dont know any. It's so lonely 😔
It’s make things so much easier knowing I’m not the only one trying to figure this out, everyday seems like it has a new challenge he has a very limited speech and is very hyper. I love him so much but today was just one of those days I feel like just sitting in the corner and crying.
My son was just diagnosed with Autism about two weeks ago. He just turned 2 in February. I’m still trying to learn everything and get into a routine with him!
My son is 12 and was diagnosed at 3. I also work with elementary aged students with autism. I'm around if you need someone to talk to
Add me! My 5yo does
