Keep having dreams about premature labor 🙁 My oldest was born at 27 weeks, due to placental abruption, so as I am coming towards 27 weeks in my current pregnancy, I'm freaking out. But I'm really tryna not let it bother me. I wouldn't wish that on nobody.... Seeing your baby in the NICU months at a time hooked to wires and in an incubator is not cool. My fear is going through that again. I just keep in my mind that I got ultrasounds every 2 weeks and I have to go into my obs to take my Makena shot so I'll be good and this time of something is wrong they'll catch it.

I'm so sorry you went through that!! My sister gave birth to twins at 24 weeks baby A Weston passed away at 6 days old, baby B Waylon is 3 months old amf weighs 5 pounds 8 ounces now which is alot compared to the 1 pound 8 ounces at birth! He is still the NICU.. Prayers you keep that baby in until full term!

@mckallalynn.. oh man 😓 Condolences to your sister, you and your family. I didn't lose her my oldest though but she got sick twice in the NICU. The nurses told me her chances were about 15%-20% because she came out so small. So I know the fear and feeling of losing one. And I definitely will hope and pray that baby Waylon makes it home. Tell your sister I will keep her, her husband and her babies in my thoughts and also I wish her the best. And to be strong for herself and her babies. I know how it is being in that NICU. You can definitely lose yourself there wanting to be there 24/7 with your baby. The nurses had to tell me to go home and at least shower and nap lol I spent all my time there.

I'm in a similar boat. Had my son at 33 weeks and now I'm currently 24 weeks. I was monitored overnight a few weeks ago and was slightly dilated and lost my mucus plug. I've been on progesterone suppositories since the start. Hopefully then progesterone works for you. If you have an incompetent cervix, they can put stitches in as well to help. The NICU PTSD is real. And its really good you're getting ultrasounds every two weeks. That should catch it early if anything does change. Still sucks to be in that situation.

You know it’s weird you say that because before I had my daughter 2 days ago I kept having really weird dreams including ones that she would be here soon and she showed up at 34 weeks

@kmiler55 I have a feeling this baby will come sooner than 40 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if she comes within the week I stop taking my Makena shots tbh.

@bbylopez I know how you feel its so scary:( I went into premature labor at 20 weeks with twins who passed and it was so traumatizing i worry so much but I've made it to 35 weeks! God will take care of you and your LO.
