Thought I'd give the iron pills another go today seen as I hadn't been sick in awhile. Couple hours after taking it; the Bf made me a nice dinner, not long after that it all came straight back up. TMI but almost projectile style, exactly like when I first started taking them. Can't help but feel that if my body is naturally rejecting them (and so violently at that) that they aren't as necessary as I'm being told they are 🤐 that was my last ditch attempt. No more x

Have you spoken to your doctor about it? My mother in law was the sane and it turned out she couldn't take it orally and had to go to the hospital and had it on a drip or something xx

@megan-leigh I've spoken to a doctor and they've swapped around with different iron pills but they all appear to have the same effect. I'll mention it again next appointment and see if they can offer me something like your in law xx

I'm having the same problem, my levels are ridiculously low now 😖. I was in hospital yesterday with talks of a blood transfusion, thankfully though doctors decided against it. I'm trying liquid iron now, which tastes rank but I've only been sick on it once in 3 days so for fingers crossed this works

@carlybeanw my levels are borderline. My blood iron is okay it's just my furatin is a little low. I've got the liquid ones here too, just as bad for me. Giving up hope with all of these pills and stuff. Just doesn't seem worth the agg. I hope they continue working for you though xx

@clarelushx thanks, hoping so too. Have you tried the spatone drinks? They have no side effects at all. I was taking them for that reason but my levels are too low that I needed the tablets.
