In the past week our town has really come together over a missing kayaker named Shane.. He was on the river last weekend with his girlfriend and another couple. Fell out of his kayak allegedly and is now missing. He was last seen in the river. All his family, friends and even people who didn't know him are searching the river and woods for him. It's so touching. I hope they find him to give his family peace.

@ace160 Thank you!! I'm hoping he's okay also he has 2 daughters 9 years old and 3 years old! They aren't ruling out foul play, a lot of different stories are being said. It's crazy.

@tayler, aww that’s sad yeah my mind went straight to foul play to be honest 3 other people and no one could get to him or help him kinda sounds sketchy but I don’t know there relationships with each other or how the water was or anything but I pray he is okay!

@ace160 His girlfriend somehow got his phone that night and called the police 2 hours after he allegedly went missing! They claimed they had been searching for him for 2 hours before calling, and they were treated for hyperthermia that night also. They said they were all in the water trying to find him.. It doesn't really make sense because if he fell out of his kayak wouldn't you be able to see if he's struggling or drowning? How do you just lose sight of him? Everyone thinks it's sketchy. They have been drilling his girlfriend, she posted on Facebook that people drown and shit happens, she hasn't been looking like everyone else in town, she actually moved to Florida and deactivated her FB!! It's just so crazy.
