Praise God that y'all both doing well. I developed preeclampsia during labor with my daughter so I'm nervous this go round. I'm taking a baby aspirin everyday. Doc said it's supposed to help not develop it.

@chelleyb93, yes i didnt know i had it until my 36 week check up by then it was severe. Nightmare but we both got through it. I pray everything works out well with you and your baby ❤️

@momofaprince thank you. I didn't know I had it until I got to labor and delivery because my blood pressure wouldn't go down. It was normal all my appointments. I was ultimately put on pitocin even though my contractions where good and strong every 2 min or so and I was progressing quite well. They didn't want me to stall.

@chelleyb93, kinda like my experience but i wasn’t ready to give birth at all. I was first attempted to induce vaginally but my placenta was aging so once they seen that i had to have an emergency c section. I went in at 2:30pm gave birth 6am the next day.That whole time i was being stuck with needles every two hrs and trying to get me to dilate. I was on pitocin & magnesium . Magnesium for about the whole stay

@momofaprince I had my daughter all natural thankfully. I went in around 3am and had her by 1pm. I personally feel like I didn't need the pitocin because of how I was progressing but I'm not a doc and it was my first time. The magnesium was the absolute worst only because I had planned on eating after delivery and my best friend bought me my favorite chipotle meal but I couldn't eat. I was so pissed watching other people eat.

@chelleyb93, lol right. I could eat but i couldn’t drink any fluids.
