Venting... This dude (my fiance) just threw a temper tantrum because I went to see a movie without him yesterday. I mean yelling and cussing in front of the kids and everything. He goes to see movies without me ALL THE TIME. He went to see the same movie today, so if I had not watched it yesterday, he would have been fine. I am just speechless...

I can understand that but at the same time you have to show them a good example of what a healthy relationship is like. I know it’s hard but hopefully it works out for you!

@andrea328, honestly staying for the kids almost always backfires. We think they’re happy cause Mom and Dad are together but in the end they’re facing the blowouts from the unhappiness between their parents. They don’t need y’all to be together. They need you to be happy and see a respectful and loving home.

@tipsymermaid idk, mostly my kids. I don't want them split with custody stuff, but I know they shouldn't be exposed to this dysfunction either. Just pray for me

He and I talked about going together, but neither one of us had money to pay for a baby sitter so I just left work early to go (he could have too, I asked him about it but he didn't want to... which is fine). I knew he was going today without me, so I didn't think it would be a big deal.

@leroydoom right! I just don't understand. I'm literally sitting here shaking my head. He packed all of his things and left like we don't have kids together or something. But he does that when he gets mad which I'm pretty sick of.

Mine gets mad when I go somewhere and leave our son with him but then he just takes off by himself all the time, sometimes w/o even telling me like that's okay.
