I had sex the 15th and took Plan B the 16th. According to Glow I was ovulating and fertile. Its now 11 days post ovulation and 2 days before my next period. I know Plan B can throw my period off but is it too early to test if I am pregnant?
Plan B not only prevents the release of a egg, but it can also prevent fertilization AND implantation. You’re probably totally fine, EVEN if you’ve already ovulated.
@ceeasquared, oh yeah, I’d bet money that you’re safe. Just take it easy, and test Monday morning.
@jennatess Thank you! I know its not bc but I order my bc online and my pills were late coming and I knew we were going to have sex so I bought the pill before the sex. Literally took it like 15 min after we were done lol
Also, the most accurate reading is usually 13 or 14 DPO. So, just test the next few days and you should have your answer. ❤️
If you took it within 24 hours of intercourse, then I’d bet you’re safe. If taken within 24 hours they have a 95% effectiveness. I took one once and it pushed my period back like three or four days and I was freaking tf out. But, Aunt Flow finally came. Then the following month I was back on track. My advice is just to try and relax ( easer said than done, I know. 😅). Or, to ease your mind, maybe take a test tomorrow first thing in the morning. If you’re 11 dpo then you’d most likely get a positive. So, that will give you a peace of mind.
@sherrynygirl I know that the apps could be off on ovulation so I have my fingers crossed because I know plan b only works if you haven't ovulated yet.
@parismommmy really...yes i am sure it's rare if taken right after
