Opinions wanted. I live in a place surrounded with water. Every thing for family activities is based around water & outside. My son is 3 months. By summer he will only be 4-5 months & i would love to enjoy our summer as a family. Especially since i was pregnant last summer. I feel he will be fine out at the beach as long as his skin is protected & we find a shaded area like under the pier. Or umbrellas/tent. Im not the one to care what others think but for my son i would hate for people to see me as a questionable mother for bringing my baby out.

Girl there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking your son to the beach . Like you said, find some shade and a little sunscreen if necessary. Have fun w/ ya family screw the critics!!

I LOVE the water and am a little jealous that you’re so close to the beach. I love Florida. Anyway my in laws have a pool and we will be spending a lot of time there this summer. My baby just made 5 months and I got her this. It’s got a cover to help protect her skin. I’d say just make sure you protect her skin and bring an umbrella to shade her in the sand! Hope your little one is a water baby!! 💖

@blakeslatinmama, ohhh honestly that seems like a great child hood to me. I get making sure your child is safe. But i feel some parents stop living once they have a child. I dont want my son sheltered & afraid to do things because hes too young, too tall, to this & that. I would like for him to embrace the world with confidence & i dont think every mother looks at life that way which is fine. Im a military spouse & the wives can be vicious when it comes to judging one another. Im usually a tough cookie over all but for my son i would be hurt if some one thought less of my mothering skills. My opinion your mom is awesome
