They make it so much money for a divorce because they don't want ppl getting a divorce the government is screwed up in so many ways

Don’t worry yourself crazy with it I know you just want it to be over with just the whole ordeal but take it slow! Part of the divorce process is self healing gathering yourself during the clutter and making a clear path through the mess!

I did my divorce paperwork online. ( I downloaded them as PDFs and filled them out using DocHub, which is free software.) I only paid the filing fee. It’s less than $500. If you both want it, then it should be smooth sailing. Is he saying he would sign the papers? My ex signed without an issue. I could not afford an attorney.

@lulu85_18, he doesn’t want a divorce but I feel like he is willing to let me have a divorce and sign without an issue. I definitely can’t afford going through a rough divorce.. does it go by state to do it online or can anyone do it?

@nikki9109, depends on the state. Google your state with the keyword “dissolution of marriage” and see if PDFs pop up for free download. Worst case scenario, you can pick up the paperwork at the courthouse for about $30 and fill it out yourself. Hang in there, girl. You def don’t need an attorney or to pay a crazy amount of money. Two to three months. As long as the courts are not too busy with other proceedings, it’s pretty quick.
