That's exactly the way it needs to be. We don't have an obligation to make sure everyone is involved in our child's life's. Even the mediator for my daughter's donor told him.. It is not the child or mom's job to make sure you stay involved. That is your job as her dad to be there for her. Same goes for grandparents

Exactly! My dad was never really in my life but after I had my daughter he texts me asking can he be in her life or whatever n I'm like 🙄 ok fine. So for like a month I'm texting him every other day sending him pics n stuff. But he never really responded. Lol I'm like damn if I'm sending you pics at least acknowledge it n say it's cute or something. So I decided to just let him text me. Haven't heard from him since...She gonna be 1 in like 2 weeks. And at this point he's dead to me 🤷🏾‍♀️ because hes not gonna be daddy or grandpa when he feels like it

@cmurdaa3615 my daughters dad moved all the way back to ohio. He is trying to get on child support himself so he can get joint custody so that when its his "turn" he will not return her
