I really want to have a natural birth, because my first birth experience I was very detached due to the epidural and I honestly felt no physical anything. But I dont think I can afford natural birth, plus no one around me supports me on my choice. I feel very anxious and fearful. Both hospitals near me are known for not supporting natural birth in a positive way and are huge on interventions. 😢💔

Did you breastfeed? That can help create a good bond, regardless of the way you birthed. But honestly, its YOUR BIRTH not the hospitals. I recommend to get a doula who can attend your birth with you, be your voice and coach you through natural labor. They help facilitate natural births in unfriendly hospital situations.

I wanted to breastfeed but my son had a severe tongue tie when born so he couldn't latch. By the time they snipped it, he refused to latch and no one helped me try and figure it out. I'm looking into doulas but I know they can be expensive

Some doulas will attend free because they are practicing and need the hours for certification. You can ask around see if there's any available. Having a solid birth plan can also help you have a more natural birth. I had a natural birth at Kaiser. Idk if you can go there but maybe they will be good for you too.
