So I haven’t been to the doctor yet but when I called my obgyn she said it was too soon for me to have a positive test but it was blatantly Positive. I was 17 days past ovulation when I tested and 2 days late in my period. How could that be too soon?

Maybe she didn't understand idk. I'd call back or send a picture just ask if you can get a lab test.

I got a really light positive at 12 dpo which is earlier than most women but 17 dpo won’t give you a false positive so I don’t know what your doctor is talking about ...test again though and see if it’s positive

@stevie.eaton3, yea they usually say wait until after your missed period and you mentioned that you did that so I’m pretty sure you’re pregnant... congrats 😁

Positives everyone thought it was too early for me too and here I am with a 3 week old. Everyone’s hormones are different !
