Ive been having on and off contractions for 4 days now but they usually aren't really close together. When is a good time to call my doctor? Isn't there something they can do since its been 4 days even though their only lasting a few seconds and are about a few minutes apart? I'm just afraid they won't do anything and just tell me to relax and wait for my water to break. Any suggestions?

Call your doc when they are like 4-5 min apart. Before then they will send you home...my cousin was having contractions for a week before they got steady. Another girl on here had then for 2 weeks so it can take time....the young lady above gave good advice for making them stronger
