At what point would y’all take your LO to the ER?
Aiden threw up twice tonight within an hour at about 7pm. I took his temp and it was 100.4 so I gave him 2mL of infant Tylenol. I just checked his temp again (3 hours later) and it’s 101.5
First time mommy over here so I’m a huge worry wart lol

@thequeen, watch the fever, if it continues to rise then take him. Also if he continues to vomit and won’t take Brest/bottle; becomes extremely sleepy where you have a hard time stimulating him, cries without tears, mouth is dry lips dry and look cracked. Those are signs of dehydration. But if his temp continues to go up with Tylenol I’d take him in just to be safe.

Take him in, being that small with that high of a fever is very dangerous! Hope he gets better soon!

Doctor's normally say not to take your child to The Hospital until they are reaching a temperature of 104 degrees, or higher.

@shaelynnstokes, @mother.of.2, @zackemilymcguire, I took him in cause the Tylenol wasn’t helping and they told me that 105 is emergency temp. Yeah no I’m never waiting for 105 to take him. He’s doing so much better today but got send home from daycare for apparently having a 100.7 fever but when I took it myself it was 98.7??🙄

@shaelynnstokes, Thanks but his fever is back :/ his bed time was two hours ago and he’s fussing so bad he won’t go to sleep. I feel so bad

Poor baby, night time is always worse. Watch for ear batting pulling. It takes less then 6 hrs for an ear infection to develop. If his fever continues through tomorrow night I’d take him to his pediatrician

@shaelynnstokes, Yesterday was his last dose of amoxicillin because he had an ear infection but yeah if he still has a fever tomorrow then I’m definitely calling
